Here Is Your API Affiliate Training Webinar Recording....Kind Of...
www.avantshare.com on

Excerpt: This week’s affiliate training webinar focused on learning the basics of the AvantLink API, our robust and very powerful platform that nearly all of the AvantLink tools you use everyday are built on. The webinar included live examples of API calls and two complete demonstrations on how to set the API up and put it on a website, all on top of the usual account interface training segment. And that would be what you’re watching today, but it’s not. That’s because our webinar software randomly decided to delete the webinar recording after the training concluded. Thanks webinar software! But fret not- below is a new and way better recap recording of the webinar and our webinar software wasn’t able to delete this new copy.... read the full post.

QuickBooks for iPad–Well Executed, But it’s all About the Ecosystem | The Diversity Blog - SaaS, Cloud & Business Strategy
diversity.net.nz on

Excerpt: Recently Intuit introduced a new mobile version of its QuickBooks application. Let’s look for a moment at the reality for an SMB.... read the full post.

US House Bill Aims to Expand Release of Clinical Trials Data
www.in-pharmatechnologist.com on

Excerpt: US House Democrats have re-introduced a bill  that would expand trial data reported by companies to clinicaltrials. gov, but a recent EU court decision shows what kind of resistance should be expected. The latest bill, known as the Trial and Experimental Studies Transparency (TEST) Act of 2013, seeks to address a number of loopholes in the registration and publication of trial data in the US online database. Currently, a portion of clinical trials used for US drug approvals -- including some conducted in foreign countries, as well as Phase I and feasibility studies -- are not required to be registered with clinicaltrials. gov.... read the full post.

Science in the Open » Blog Archive » The bravery of librarians
cameronneylon.net on

Excerpt: Two things caught my attentions over the past few days. The first was the text of a Graduation Address from Dorothea Salo to the graduating students of the Library and Information Sciences Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The second was a keynote from Chris Bourg, whose blog is entitled “Feral Librarian”, gave at The Acquisitions Institute. Both focus on how the value of libraries and the value of those who defend the needs of all to access information are impossible to completely measure.... read the full post.
